Pewter Workshop

A quick introduction to pewter casting at uni.  The shell on the left is done using a two piece silicon rubber mold, the shell  on the right was cast using a simple one piece sand mold.  The silicon rubber picks up a lot more detail and has a much crisper finish (need to saw off and sand down the pouring hole end), however the sand casting took no time at all

Harts Silversmiths

Pieces made whilst on work experience at Hart's Silversmiths in the Guild in Chipping Campden.  The jug is beaten from a circular sheet of copper, the bangles are made from silver. One of the most amazing workshops I've ever seen, definitely worth a visit!
