Pewter Workshop

A quick introduction to pewter casting at uni.  The shell on the left is done using a two piece silicon rubber mold, the shell  on the right was cast using a simple one piece sand mold.  The silicon rubber picks up a lot more detail and has a much crisper finish (need to saw off and sand down the pouring hole end), however the sand casting took no time at all!
